SUPER TWEED is one of Fonty's signature yarns and consists of 95% fine wool, which provides softness and elasticity, and 5% mohair fibers which provide a shiny appearance and volume. In the family of tweeds (yarns with small intentional random spots of color), SUPER TWEED is unique on the market because it is one of the few made from 100% natural fibers. The colored pieces are made exclusively from dyed natural wool, unlike other tweed yarns. Thanks to the dyeing process in which the wool is dyed before being spun and dye baths are used several times to create degraded colors, the ecological impact is drastically reduced.
