Fonty Tartan 6 (100% wool) (70 m / 50 g)

 TARTAN 6 is a beautiful carded 6ply yarn made of 100% wool, machine washable. It is a subtle, soft and resilient yarn, composed in 6 strands.
The colors are lightly speckled, tone on tone, bright and deep. The production principle is inspired by that of SUPER TWEED: raw wool is dyed and then mixed with unbleached wool, in three different proportions. Each mixture is then spun and then twisted. So with one dye bath we developed three colors: coherent and in gradient. In doing so, he ecological footprint of the dying process is reduced.
